Female (c)rapper Remy Smith (a.k.a. 'Remy Ma') has been sentenced to 8-years in prison for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion for shooting a woman named Makeda Barnes Joseph last July outside a Manhattan club in a dispute over money. Smith accused Joseph of taking $2,000 from her purse.

What's funny is this supposed big, tough, thuggish rapper cried and begged the judge for leniency for the sake of "my little boy," saying she grew up "surrounded by failure, violence and poverty,".

Aww, isn't that a shame. These talentless morons always credit their "street life" for making them tough, but when they get busted they use their "street life" as an excuse.

Reports from witnesses say Smith's fiance', a (c)rapper named 'Papoose' started screaming his head off, "All you want is money!" he said, referring to the victim.

"Lock me up! Lock me up!" he then shouted to court officers, who escorted him out of the courthouse.

Remy Ma was nominated for a friggin' Grammy when she was part of a group called 'Terror Squad'. Whatever happened to the days when real artists got Grammys? Now, people calling themselves 'Terror Squad' gets nominated. Unreal....M
